Roblox is a freemium online videogame website and content platform for users between the ages of eight and 18. It is owned by Roblox Corporation, an American company based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and owned by Microsoft.
Unlike most video games, Roblox does not have any real or fictitious setting, and has no single game genre. Roblox is a virtual world that its users can create and design completely from scratch.
In a standard Roblox world, users start with a blank world and are able to build their own custom virtual worlds and objects that can be used in the game. A Roblox account allows multiple users access to the same Roblox world by invitation or through Facebook accounts.

Users can use a third-party program called The Forge to quickly build their own worlds and characters. Forge builds have an infinite lifetime and any objects created with it can be saved or stolen. Roblox users can also upload their own creations that are saved to the Roblox website.
Ranking System
Ranking system is there to allow users to see who is better in the game.
After a user has been playing for some time, Roblox develops a reputation system based on user performance during the game. This information is stored in the user’s profile and some of the data is transmitted to Roblox’s servers.
Ranking in Roblox is determined by the number of achievements the user has, as well as the level of the user’s security settings. The user’s rank also reflects their performance in several different game modes, including Career and Creative. To rank up, the player must complete goals called quests and compete in daily events, team events, and game tournaments. There are 12 Achievements, and the number of achievements a player has determines their rank on the leaderboard for that game mode.
A player’s rank also affects how quickly they get new materials, as the better the rank the higher the reward for resources. Once a player has completed the Quest, the next quest given is typically much easier.
Characters in Roblox
The characters created in Roblox are called “Avatars.” Avatars can be designed with different variations of skin tone, hairstyle, clothes, etc.
