Set in the year 2200, basketball is a peaceful sport. You can only dunk if you are standing on a platform, otherwise your player will just pass to the other player. Your job is to do as many dunks as you can throughout various levels. Each level offers unique challenges and obstacles, such as corkscrew dunks, slippery platforms, bouncers and lift blocks. Hold on to your socks or dunk through tessellated flooring, however, you’ll lose your grip on the basketball.

The best bit about BATS is that it’s just as fun now as it was when we first coded it. We’ve kept to the original design vision and included all of our fun elements from the original.
But we’ve also made a lot of improvements, and we’re super excited about it!
We’ve managed to add a fourth speedrun mode called “Boss Rush”, where players can earn extra blood and stars for completing the game as fast as possible. In the regular campaign, players choose the order in which they play the levels, but when playing boss rush they have to complete all five levels in any order. If players don’t die, they’ll be rewarded with extra blood to unlock the next character. We hope this will give all players a chance to make it to the end of the game and experience our best blood explosion yet!
We’ve also changed some of the power-ups to be more gameplay friendly. We’ve given the players a handy map of the level, which lets them know exactly where to go and what they need to collect.
And we’ve made tons of enhancements to the blood making system, so blood spewing all over the place is a more fun, more realistic experience.
To celebrate the release of BATS, we’ve released BATS in a free in-app upgrade for everyone! We hope you’ll enjoy the new features!

Quite a lot has been written about Terraformer, on forums, reddit, youtube, you name it. Personally I have seen some fantastic trailers and thought “wow that is a clever concept” in them. The more I watched though the more I became sceptical about the game.

There is a lack of detail in everything that is shown. At first, I thought this was just for the sake of being creative in a video, but as time went on I could see where the issues were.

First of all, you start playing in a garage where you need to build/revive robots. I’m assuming these are the titular Terraformers, the robots that Terraformer needs to “form” the terraformable planets? But the more I watched the more things I saw that didn’t quite fit in.

1: A Robot in the image above is in its base. This means that there are a number of more base robots at your disposal that you need to upgrade to make your robot(s) more powerful. But there are no graphics of these other robots, so you have no clue of how to get them or how to make them. It is like I said, lack of detail.

2: Also there is no explanation of how to construct/revive a robot in the game. Again, there is no graphics so you don’t know what you need to do, you just go with the flow of the game, hoping that you got the idea right. If you don’t, then you will have to delete and restart the game to try again. Not only that, but how do you build your robots? Where can you get the resources to make the components that you need for each robot? How do you upgrade them? Again, lack of detail.

3: Terraformer is supposed to be greenlit, but there is no explanation of the solar system. If you were to follow the progression of the trailers you would get some idea, but then you start to notice how a journey is not explained. The whole journey of the game isn’t laid out. There is no concept of missions, or a purpose of the game. It just kind of jumps about in the solar system, hoping you will guess where to go next? You cannot guess.

4: You can only upgrade your robots by using the resources you find while exploring the solar system. But you don’t know how to collect them, or what they are for, so you just “tune
