While A New Dawn was focused on improving the overall gameplay experience of the series, this year’s FIFA 22 will have a more traditional approach. The main focus will be on improving FIFA 22’s gameplay and introducing modes that haven’t been present in the series before.<\/p>\n

Design philosophy<\/p>\n

A lot of video game developers currently feel that the increasingly realistic nature of video games is also making them lack the ability to create the types of games they truly want to create. Players are learning to become better at video games, and this is making developers create scenarios that are more and more unrealistic, to the point where they are forced to create games with AI, as to make sure everything is handled in an accurate way, they have to hand it over to an AI, which is becoming more and more difficult to design and code.<\/p>\n

The design philosophy of the FIFA franchise has been to create very realistic simulations since their very first game, FUT Champions, but also to use video game technology to its fullest extent. One of the ways FIFA’s creators, SEGA, try and solve this issue is by making sure the players themselves will feel like they\u2019re in a really realistic simulation by using all sorts of new technology.<\/p>\n

\u201c Our philosophy is to create a video game so realistic that the players themselves will feel like they\u2019re actually playing in a simulation,\u201d said Yota Tsuruoka, Producer at SEGA Europe.<\/p>\n

Some of the things SEGA is working on include the \u201cHyperMotion Technology,\u201d which is already being talked about at the Electronic Entertainment Expo for its potential in creating highly realistic gameplay. In addition to this, working on the motion capture for FIFA’s players has become increasingly difficult, and SEGA is making use of the best available technology to make sure they can achieve their goals.<\/p>\n

\u201c It is very difficult to make a really realistic simulation,\u201d continued Yota Tsuruoka. \u201c It\u2019s incredibly difficult to create a totally accurate simulation of what a player will do when he\u2019s actually on the pitch. Yet we feel that it\u2019<\/p>\n
