Origin and First AutoCAD Version
In 1982, the first version of AutoCAD was launched by Autodesk Inc. (then a subsidiary of Warner Brothers), on a Commodore PET computer. This version was considered a hobbyist product and was only provided free of charge. The software consisted of DOS-based applications that used the DOS-based 3D graphics package, Format/Raster. AutoCAD was first released in December 1982 and was the first to be widely used on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers.
When AutoCAD was first released, CAD programs ran on mainframe computers or minicomputers, with each CAD operator (user) working at a separate graphics terminal. They were often separate companies, making AutoCAD the first CAD application to be available to CAD operators in the construction industry.
When AutoCAD was first released, it was created using the FORTRAN programming language to generate commands for use by the graphics drivers. But the software had to be translated to the graphics drivers, a task left to the end user. Although it was programmed to be platform independent, the development of software programs for systems other than the Commodore PET platform required a great deal of work. The second version of AutoCAD was released in 1985 and ran on the IBM-compatible PC platform. However, it could not be used on many computers. Realistic Chromedome, large scale and aesthetic
I am looking for a chromedome that is not exactly 1:1 but has the look of a scale model and can be used in a realistic way.
I am developing an Augmented Reality app and I would like to use it for various projects including a size comparison app.
I have read various topics on this forum but I have not found a solution yet.
When I try to use the camera I always have to scale it down to have enough pixels in the image and therefore the detail is small.
Any advice on how to approach this and what I can use as a basis for my project?

There are so many ways to make scale models.
You can make a model out of a regular building block. Then cut it into pieces and make those into individual buildings.
Scale models can also be made by using the laser engraver.
Then you can make them out of plastic and make those to be used in a real world application.
This way you can easily make a quick scale model for comparison purposes.
