The Elden Ring Game (hereinafter referred to as the “game”) is a fantasy action RPG developed by Elements Game Studio under the leadership of the legendary developer Daedalic Entertainment, based on the rich world of the Elden Ring universe.

    RPGs have a similar equation where design is crucial to survival. If a game is well designed, not only does it offer a solid set of rules, but it must offer something that is fun and interesting. The biggest challenge of MMORPG design is achieving this balance, and with Tarnished, TERA seems to have succeeded. If anything, it could have been a little more extreme. A huge downside is the constant theme of vampires. It’s fun at first, but soon I found myself grumpy at the “angels and demons” story that carries the game.
    Tarnished is a fantasy MMORPG from developer Artoria. The game takes place in a world where angels and demons lived together in harmony. However, when an evil spell cast by Asmodeus killed all the angels, it caused the demons to lose faith in their gods. Now these evil beings rampage the land, leaving it a blood-stained wasteland. The story of Tarnished shows a great development of character characters with the angels’ ideals and the demons’ malice.
    The player can choose from two races, the light-purifying light elves or the dark-purifying dark elves. For the most part, they are both good but very different in appearance. Elves are stereotypically cute with their fair skin and hair, while the dark elves have black skin and darker hair. Race and background can be important in the game, as different backgrounds have different developments.
    The most significant parts of the game are the quests and the events. Quests and events are basically scenarios that are triggered depending on the situation. Even though the game has a quest system, they are repetitive in nature and fairly easy to follow. Just like in real life, the story advances as time goes by. The events, however, are much more rewarding as they offer a better sense of immersion.
    Obviously, players will need to spend money for gear and weapons. If you are a slow spender, you will need to save up for a few weeks and possibly months. If you are a fast spender, you can just spend all your money right away.
    The biggest con that I found was that the tutorials are very basic. For example, there is no way to read a quest description on your own. What would be nice is a way to at least get an overview of the interface in the tutorial. The default browser is also not especially useful.
