The Elden Ring Game is an upcoming high fantasy action RPG developed by Mobius. The game’s story takes place in a world of different dimensions, inhabited by the collective consciousness of all living beings. A ruined city with twisted and shattered buildings becomes the battleground where the players’ characters will wage war. A mysterious being who will appear in the game world, call itself the “Red Spirit”, as well as a group of rebels, seeks to change the destiny of the multiverse.
DEV UPDATE – Recently the dev team went on a hiatus as the team is restructuring to focus on upcoming content and schedule. Dev is currently working on the game regularly on a 60%-70% capacity. We expect most of this work to be done in the coming months. Let’s do this together! We will open development up to the player community again once the new team stabilizes!

The first impressions when we got our hands on the game were totally positive. A vibrant, colorful world complete with monsters was right at the surface. A world that was vibrant and full of life. The sense of adventure was immediately created in our minds. But that first impression didn’t last long as our quest to find the one who fell from the sky demanded our immediate attention.
This game first gave us a feeling that the gameplay would be easy as in other traditional action RPGs. Unlike other games of this genre, the controls of Elden Ring were a little bit different. Similar to most modern action RPGs, at the top of the screen is a sort of HUD, which tells us the basics of the game like the name, the character name, the location, the weather, etc. The key to note here is that even when the HUD is on, we are still moving the character as if it is a video game.
As for the controls, they are similar to the ones of other modern action RPGs such as Brave Frontier. The things to note are that you can’t simply move your character in the direction you like. Instead, you have to constantly make an input in the direction that you want to move the character. Even when you’re in the midst of battle, you have to maintain the input in the direction of the attacks, while simultaneously inputting the direction of the direction you want to move.
The attack inputs can be performed in an analog manner, but the characters seem to have relatively weak attacks. In other words, you will be walking around while holding down the attack key. For example, let’s say you want to walk to the right. When you press the right button, your character will walk in the right direction while looking in the direction of the button that you pressed. It’s simple enough, but the input can be difficult when you’re in a pinch. Also, let’s say you press the right button and then you want to press the left one. That’s going to be tricky.
All in all, I think the controls of this game are relatively simple, which is made clear by the game itself. The combat system makes you see enemies that are nearby. If you walk on top of the character whose health bar you want to restore, the character who is on low health will be attacked.
