You start in the hall with the grey, dot patterned wallpaper. Every one of you corridors has the same monotonous design and feels like there’s nothing special about it. Except for the light bulbs and the sounds of the patients running around. That’s probably the most important part to notice. You can’t hear other people walking around and the inmates don’t seem to care about it. You don’t know what’s going to happen next and where you should go next.
And this is the reason to start ByLo. First of all, it’s because the graphics don’t tell you anything. They’re simple and instantly recognizable, but nothing more. If you want to trigger your brain, have something show up that you won’t expect, for example: A discarded anvil.
That’s a point where you enter the next level of ByLo. You’re looking for the picture that we’re really aiming for. You start searching through the halls, going up and down and right and left. You’re one of those pixelized characters that your only hope is a cell phone you pick up.
But that’s just the first step. The moment you put your foot inside the door of the first cell, it opens and you’re teleported to the second. This goes on and on until you’ve made it to the very last room. In each level, you have to work on a puzzle that can give you more clues on a picture the staff is trying to find. You don’t know if they’re really searching for it or if the picture is what they’re really after. You have the power to ignore everything that comes along your way. And you have to be sane.
You start the game with a cell phone only. It’s a very unsettling moment when you turn it on, take a closer look and all you see is the same dull and uninteresting design that had you intrigued in the first place. But you have to play along so you’re as innocent as possible. And that’s a real test.

    I’ve been known to have problems with sleeping. I get to the point in the evening where I can no longer doze, but my body starts shaking and twitching, and even after it calms down for a few hours, it starts all over again.

    I have narcolepsy and all it does is make me tired. I haven’t been a major alcoholic, but once in a while. I do like to drink, but I know better than to be that drunk. It makes me feel bad. :rolleyes:

    Funny how your mind remembers experiences like that. So does mine. My most vivid memories are of that time in my life when I was completely wasted.

    BattleRush 2, the sequel to the PlayStation 3 exclusive turn-based strategy game, BattleRush, was announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it’s unlikely that the game will be released. One of the answers to that question came from their new COO, Mike Reiss. Reiss tweeted a response to a fan asking about BattleRush 2 on PlayStation 4 as the year end draws closer, stating:

    “Unfortunately no.”

    While it’s not a confirmation that the game won’t ever be released, Reiss’ tweet doesn’t give a lot of hope that it will. The official BattleRush Twitter account is nowhere to be found, and the developer and publisher Sentanarc (which released the original game) seem to be not involved with the sequel. At the 2010 Spike Expo, Sony awarded the BattleRush 2 team the EDGE award for its follow-up to the critically acclaimed BattleRush. Again, it’s not a confirmation of BattleRush 2’s future, but it doesn’t exactly give hope that it will be released. BattleRush 2 was originally announced in March of 2013 for PlayStation 3 as a Western exclusive before being released on the PlayStation Network for PS3 in January of 2014, but then a December 2, 2014 launch was announced for Playstation 4.

    Finally, in March of 2014 Reiss tweeted: “We have more BattleRush to come.”

So it’s likely that it took a very long time to develop and it could be that the production took so long that development could not be completed. PSN releases in the West more or less start around September, and in the North America, we have seen that the release month of a PSN release ranges between October and November from time to time. However, given that BattleRush 2 is now about over two years old and has not been released on the current gen platforms, it’s highly unlikely that the developers at Sentanarc decided to shut down the project for good.
