In the code below I am trying to update the visible property of the span which changes dynamically at runtime. The problem I am facing is that the selector is not picking the selector defined on the child component. I see in the documentation on the Selector that it has to be applied to the element that must have the visibility changed. In my situation none of the elements in the code below are parent components, so I am seeing undefined whenever I try to update any of the properties in the child component.
