You’re using incorrect settings for your sound card drivers. Your sound card (or better
speakers) is unable to reproduce high frequencies in a digital signal if it doesn’t have high enough
resolution. This is because your sound card’s digital signal doesn’t get enough time to reduce the
broadness of the frequency band.

When you start the software, “Player.exe” would show in the directory of your Windows installation. This default directory is usually:
C:Program Files\Ploytec\Player

To change this path, please right click the “Player.exe” file and select “Properties”. Then click the “Browse” button to browse to another folder. In this example, we set this path to “C:\Player”. After setting this path, open “Player.exe” and press “Play” to check if this works.

If the above setup does not work, right click “Player.exe” and select “Properties”. Then click the “Compatibility” tab. There is a property “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” click “Change settings” then select “Windows XP (Service Pack 3)”. This will run the software in Windows XP without any modification.
